Coastal Cleanup

The 32nd annual Delaware Coastal Cleanup, to be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 14. Sponsored by the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, the cleanup spans the First State‚Äôs 97-mile eastern coastline and includes river and ocean shorelines as well as wetland and watershed areas. Officers and Students Attend 2019 Fall Leadership Conference

October 8-9 – Students from across the state of Delaware converged on the Terry Campus of Delaware Technical Community College, for the annual Fall Leadership Conference. Students were comprised of local chapter leaders and potential new chapter leaders for their respective organizations. Over 400 students participated each day. Attendees engaged in activities to recognize natural leadership abilities and participated in a mock competition for extemporaneous speaking. The Benefits of Career and Technical Education

Delaware SkillsUSA and HOSA officers joined two students from other states in telling the story on how Career and Technical Education has provided them opportunities. Victoria Washira, Ruth Bermudez, and Madison Kibler from Delaware were asked to participate at the forum held during the Southern Regional Education Board conference in Baltimore Convention Center in July of 2019. State Officers Meet Legislators at 150th General Assembly of the State of Delaware

SkillsUSA Students Take Home State Awards

Students from across the state took home honors from the SkillsUSA awards in Wilmington. Lists of the students honored are located here.  Nearly 900 students, advisors, and judges who represent business and industry from throughout the state participated in state contests throughout the month of February. Students demonstrated professionalism, leadership and skill attainment in 61 events.
